Project: Tervasaari PK 7 dismantling - transfer of paper machine from Finland to Sweden
After the oil layer, paper layer and plastic foil layer, we add wood planks all around the Yankee to protect the shell. The removal of the three pieces of hood was done after the Yankee was fully covered. After the hood is removed we will continue to dismantle the frame structure on upper sides of the MG and all other surrounding equipment (bearings, walkways, railings etc.). In the end, the Yankee will be standing only on its supporting frames. We have ordered special supporting beds for the axles. In the first phase of moving, the skidding system will be placed under those beds.
